An award-winning broadcast veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Mark Hoffman was named Chairman of CNBC in April 2015. He reports directly to Steve Burke, Chief Executive Officer, NBCUniversal.

Hoffman, who was named CNBC President in 2005, has spent the past decade transforming CNBC into a leading, multi-platform international business news brand that is widely regarded as First in Business Worldwide. Prior to returning to CNBC, Hoffman served as President and General Manager of WVIT, NBC’s owned-and-operated station in Hartford, CT, beginning in August 2001. He came to WVIT from CNBC, where he was Vice President and Managing Editor, Business News and also served as acting President and Managing Director for CNBC Europe.
