Digitization will be key to how cities and countries maintain global competitiveness, improve citizen services, foster innovation and create new jobs. As governments everywhere confront global competition, constrained resources, and hyper-connected citizens, they need to modernize and efficiently utilize technology and infrastructure. This session will explore the evolution of smart cities, while using the example of Curacao to discuss the future of digitized countries.
